Translate Can't change text to be annotative or text height. Use the NoteOptions command to determine whether to edit Notes and SimpleNotes in-place or in a dialog box. Autodesk does not warrant, either expressly or implied, the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the information translated by the machine translation service and will not be liable for damages or losses caused by the trust placed in the translation service. I tried changing the reference scale through ArcCatalog, as was mentioned in another post, but that was grayed out also. If you build an annotation family, that family needs to know the exact loaction to read information from. Revit doesnt actually read the parametername, but a GUID (Globally Unique Identifier) code. To read out information from a parameter, that parameter needs to be a shared parameter. In the properties of the layer, the reference scale is grayed out. The information they show is stored in parameters. is a Dimension, edit the Dimension text in the Edit Note dialog box. I am using ArcGIS 10.1 and I am trying to change the reference scale for an annotation layer that I have in my model. Set As Default: Uses the current properties settings for all new annotations of this type going forward. Click a tool set to place the annotation in that set. So while I you cannot color-code the reference planes, you CAN change the colors of the dimensions. Hover over the menu item to show the currently enabled tool sets in a submenu. Other things that I do are to make different dimension types.
